I made a very slight cut with a knife to remove piece of orange rubber that conflicted with a bezel on the front of my generator. More or less a notch. Other than that I'd count this as an excellent value.

I bought this for use with an RV extension cord to charge my car. Unfortunately, the pins are not connected that way. One hot pin on the plug is connected to BOTH hot pins on the socket, and the other hot pin on the plug is connected to the neutral on the socket. You can't use it for 240 volts. Apparently the spec for NEMA TT-30R is 125 volts only, not 240. I should have researched it better before purchasing.It is well made though and should work fine for its intended purpose.
