My LG cooktop broke and a repair would probably cost twice as much as this product. I agree with the generally excellent reviews with 4 caveats.1. The unit uses knobs to set the individual heat levels but the main on/off, timer, and "extend" function are touch control. So if you are biased to use mechanical controls only this does have some touch controls. Some people believe touch controls are more prone to failure so be advised.2. If you use a burner (e.g. set to "5" and then set the unit off (without setting the burner to "0" and then set it back on, the burner control will not work. It must be reset to "0" and then it will work. This is not a problem and is actually a good safty feature, but the instructions do not mention this.3. There is an "extend" function and the instructions do not indicate what it is for. I believe it changes the default "turn-off" safety feature. Also, when you press it, there is no indicator you can see that tells you it has been engaged.4. The timer function works OK but its somewhat complicated and the instructions are weak.Overall, a good product for the price.Just installed, will update if any problem arise.

My mother and father got the larger version of this. I was so impressed. I ended up purchasing the smaller one to renovate my mini kitchen on the second part of my guest house. It just pops right in and easy to install.

This cooktop works great. It's stylish, looks custom, seems reliable. The wattage seems a bit low as it takes longer to boil water than our last unit. Either way, we love it.

We had to replace our sister’s cooktop due to broken surface caused by her young children. Sure, the burner still works; however, not safe at all especially with the kids around.Fortunately, her husband is a handy guy. He seamlessly installed this top saving them beaucoup bucks. A household brand easily sells for triple the cost.Although they did sacrifice the downdraft feature in their current cooktop. Anyhow, love that this appliance also has an auto shut-off function. Hopefully this will be their only and last replacement.

This cooktop is a great choice! I love to cook and have pots and pans of many styles to accommodate my meal preparation and cooking. The burners are designed to facilitate many temperatures and respond well whether I use a stainless steel pot or a non-stick frypan. I like the knob controls and also the quick option of the sensor touch controls. The safety features are also important and I like that the cooktop will turn off automatically if a burner left on is forgotten. It has all the bells and whistles! Nice features, good value.

With the cost of electric I haven’t been able to see how much this little hob will cost. I can’t say it will be cheap as delivers 3000W, says it is low energy so time will tell.My original cooker is getting on a bit, and I can’t decide whether to buy another or basically use this one. I have air fryers, microwaves etc, and the usual mod cons. I’m glad I have it, I have a medium kitchen, but there is only two of us.Particularly good if you have young kids around as has a child lock and timer control.Very neat and compact, but very expensive I think, but it does look to be made well.âï¸Thank you to the seller
