We replaced the original cooktop in a 65-year-old home with this unit. It took us twice as long to remove the old unit as it did to drop this one into place. It works perfectly and cost significantly less than repairing the old one would have. Very satisfied with this purchase.

I disliked that the top black glass was broken when i opened the package. I liked the fact that Amazon sent me a returned slip and that i could return it. I loved the appearance and expect to soon receive another one just like it but undamaged.

Bought this for my mother who doesn’t do touch controls well. The knobs make it easier for her to control the heat to her liking. The only “fault†is that knobs are not in the same order as her old cooktop, so she’ll need to get used to the new order.Installation was straightforward for someone with basic household wiring knowledge. High school shop classes are important, people.

I am in the United States so my remarks atre based on that.I read the bad reviews and saw they were talking about to little power to the unit. The wiring to the unit and USA wiring are different as colors are concerned. Hook it up at 2 line wires to 2 line wires ane the last to neutral , its all good

Read the manual how this top works or if your old like me just take 2 days to figure out why it won't turn on.SMALL white circles by bottom knob are Important folks.Fast to heat, slowly cools, cleans fine, scratches very easy, heats up plenty for large cast iron skillet to reverse sear.Underside dimensions were way bigger than expected..Had to cut counter top opening 1.5" to make it fit. Went from coils to this and easy learning curve..

Buyer beware!I ordered this stove thinking it would be perfect, it lasted less than a month before the one burner wouldn't get hot anymore, I requested a return and in the return instructions it states no box required. thinking we didn't want it to break we put it in the replace ment box and blacked out everything on it. I just recieved notice that I was being charged because i returned the wrong item, Clearly they did not open the box, I have reached out twice with no response. communication and customer service is a huge deal when pruchasing online, I am so disapointed in the way this was handled, I will not be buying anything from Sierli-us again.
