Lantern Pump Cup Repair Kit

The following parts are included：

  • 1* Leather Pump Cap
  • 1* Metal Nut
  • 1* Plastic Cap

These parts sandwich together inside the pump so that the leather cap can create an air seal when pumped.

Note: Theleather cap will need to be oiled before use, which can be found as part #: 200K2251 (not included).

To replace pump cup:

Installation steps

  • 1) Remove spring clip.
  • 2) Remove pump cup and metal plate.
  • 3) Place plastic backup plate, collar forward, on plunger shaft.
  • 4) Place pump cup on plunger shaft.
  • 5) Replace spring clip.

Warm Prompt：

The metal nut (the piece with the triangular opening) fits below the leather piece closer to the inside of the lantern, while the plastic part fits above the leather piece.

These look like the original Coleman leather type pump cups. I was going to replace the pumps on several lanterns that have rubber cups with new leather but I decided to keep them as is for now as they are currently being used and still work. The existing rubber cups have some noticeable wear so when they weaken or fail (they will) I will replace them with these new leather cups. Nice to have some spare parts at the ready. Probably will get some other spare lantern and stove parts from Amazon to be ready for whatever comes.
