Hillman 300309 3/8-Inch Split Lock Washer Grade 8, 100-Pack

This split lock washer provides a circular bearing surface with offset split ends which help bite into the mating material to provide a locking feature when tightened beneath a nut. It is round with a hole in the center and can be used where loosening from corrosion or vibration is a concern. Lock washers are commonly used in any application using a bolt where two pieces are being drawn together.

I am rendered speechless by the profoundly brilliant performance of these Grade 8 lock washers. There are myriad ways in which to lock down your nuts, but if you choose to do so without the abundantly capable aid of these magnificent specimens, then you’re missing what I consider one of life’s most overlooked miracles.

I was surprised by the quality. Very nice finish. Tight fit, like you want, on 9/16" bolts. Made in China of course.
