I recieved the unit and had to go and buy batteries to get it to work. It is advertised sold with batteries. It had batteries. They were dead, would not work.

The Moonasend Infrared Thermometer Temperature Gun comes with a belt holster, storage case, the Temperature gun itself and it included two AAA batteries. The Infrared Thermometer Temperature Gun has an operating range of -58°F to 1796°F. For a no contact thermometer the readings are close enough to work well. The display is large and easy to read and the case is well made. I've used this to measure the temperature of the hot end of my 3d printer and the readings are within a few degrees of what the printer says the hot ends temperature is.
