These are supposed to be " 2/8" " as the seller described, which by my math means these should be 1/4" or .250" diameter. They measure .234" diameter. Do not buy if you're looking for .250" rods.

I make jewelry and the biggest issue with using a beading board is none of them accommodate all the different bead sizes. Plus, I can’t see the design any way other than straight down. These rods solve that pain point. I ordered the 12†x 1/16†(1.5mm) and am beyond happy with the product.The rods are only slightly magnetic, which can happen based on the manufacturing process, so I do believe they are made of 304 stainless steel. They fall 1/8†short on the length. This isn’t a big deal to me but might be for others. A tight read shows them at just over 1.5mm, so they’re perfect for most of the beads I use, save for seed beads, which require specialty rods. The rods are straight and have some give, though it takes some effort to promote any serious permanent bending. I used my jewelry round nose pliers, and I was able to form a loop with great struggle. So, if you are looking for harder to mold yet super sturdy rods, these are it. And the price is great, too!

smaller than advertized. the 1 inch rod has a significant play when placed in a brand new 1 inch bearing. my other shafts dont have the play that these rods have.

These are metal rods. They are made of stainless steel. They are crazy small. For whatever reason didn’t realize the 1.5mm or maybe just didn’t know how actually small. They are a foot long. Might be able to use them as a small punch but they are a little bendy and hope they don’t break and get everywhere. Can use them as a small tool where I’d normally use wire but need something stiffer. Anyways good find not a bad deal. You get twenty five of them.
