These work well. The soldering iron tips are a nice addition and make insertion easier, but I kind of wish they were threaded as I've had some inserts that were going into blind holes that had plastic ooze into the insert and because it was a blind hole, made cleaning the threads out more difficult. Good value.

packaging is useful in that they don't get disorganized during transit. they stay organized and fit the screws they're measured to receive. they take heat well and insert themselves where I need them.

They're heated inserts. Well made, heat up quickly, and the threads are cut well.

I needed a set of heat set inserts. I'm exploring the world of 3d printing and this was my first set. It's easy to use if you have the right tools. Make sure you get a soldering iron that the tool fits into. Luckily, I have several and it worked out great. Also, the soldering iron doesn't need to get very hot for this to work.
