I like these much better than the Zephyr plates when mounting Airway wheels on bench mounted buffers. They take up less room on the shaft, allowing the nut to use more threads. This is important if you use arbor extensions. I feel that they are over priced. If they were a couple dollars less per pair, I would have bought several more instead of resorting to large specialty washers as backups.

The Pro-Graad 3-1/2" Stainless Angle Grinder Arbor Extension, 1-1/2†Thread Length, is not worth purchasing. I bought it to modify my grinder to a buffer, but they only sell the left side. Once installed in my Baldor grinder, it immediately went off balance, creating an unsafe rotation. It's a waste of money and potentially hazardous.

I had a Buffing Wheel come apart at high RPM's, with plastic Flanges that broke. This Flange Kit is steel, good for safety
