I used this to to remove rust and polish 100+ Year old drawer handles as the last part of restoring an antique bedroom set. This set worked great for this purpose. Easy to use, fit my Dremel, and I’d recommend it. The green and red polishing goo was not usable as it had dried out and hardened. That was disappointing but would not prevent me from buying this again.

Got this to polish metal, mostly aluminum. I just started getting into melting and wanted to practice sanding and polishing to get a mirror finish. For practice, I guess not a bad product. You get A LOT. Many, many bits, but they're poor quality. The complaints about hairs coming off are valid. As for the compound, seems normal. Some had said it comes in dried out, but I think it's supposed to be that way since you can order bars of compound. You won't want to use it for final product type of polishing, just practicing technique, which is what I'll use the rest for or until I figure it out.

There sure is a lot to this package! Upon opening, I sorted out the different styles of buffer wheels/discs. There was no labeling on the polishing paste, so I was left wondering which paste was coarse(r) and which paste was fine(r). I only used the green paste, so I don't know if the red paste was more coarse or more fine than the green paste. The paste was very dry. I had to scoop it out and spread it onto the wheel/disc (similar to spreading butter onto a piece of toast). Some of the paste would fling off the wheel/disc upon start up, before I even had the chance to touch the wheel/disc to the metal pieces I was polishing. Without the paste worked in to the wheel/disc, the felt would separate solely from the centrifugal force generated at 5,000 rpms from the dremel. Once the paste was worked in, I didn't notice the wheel/disc falling apart and leaving felt all over the metal work pieces. Overall, I'm happy with my purchase, but it would be nice if they could label the polishing paste.

What you get in this package is excellent value. I have found it polishes chrome easily and does a great job at detailing. You get a ton in the package. Totally recommend this deal.

This work better well for polishing and sharpening. It doesn't fall apart as other types.
