I mainly work in fused and blown glass, but I am doing some stained glass repairs to pieces I made many years ago. This 3/16'' Round H Lead Came is working out well. The came arrived coiled, and it was easy to unroll it without any nicks or cuts to the lead. Twelve feet is a great size for repairs, I don't need a larger reel, it would not be used.

I usually use copper foil but wanted to see if I could achieve a cleaner look with came. This worked out nicely but you do need to stretch it as with any came. Melted nicely and it looks really nice.

I usually use copper foil for stain glass, but I wanted to try larger pieces and I was told to use the lead cane. This was my first attempt. It was a little loose the first few pieces, so I ended up pulling it tight and stretching it quite a bit for a more secure fit. It is a much faster process than copper for me, but it takes up a lot more storage room. I will probably only use on very large projects.
