I initially bought a smaller scratching post for my kitten, but as he grew, he wanted to reach up to scratch. Since I didn't want my couch /cupboards/ curtains taking that on, I looked for a taller scratching post.He loves this scratching post and bed. I have it in the bathroom where he sleeps at night, and the cat bed is at the same level as the counter. I was worried he wouldn't scratch the post since he is pretty picky about what he scratches, but no problems there.I also really like that the cushion on the top is removable/ washable. Definitely worth it.

The materials for the scratching post are the kind that do not quickly wear out, so this was a great purchase. Easy to assemble and looks good, the cat likes it!

I like it because my cat loves it. It does wobble a bit and it put my cat off for a day or so. Once he realized that it was stable despite some wobbling he loved it. He is 11.6 pounds and can find comfy ways to sit and sleep on it. Formerly an outdoor cat before I adopted him, this makes him happy and he has adjusted nicely to indoor, safe life.

My cats like it. It is sturdy, and it has a large surface for scratching. Easy to clean because there are not many shelves and "houses". The perch is small, will not be comfortable for a large cat.

My cats love it! Easy assembly, sturdy. Little bed on top very comfy for both cats. They use scratching post all the time!

We have had this less than a month and the sisal and fur are already coming off the post. The scratching material is not attached to the post securely enough. It is unsafe for my cats to use now. Do not waste your money like I did.

My cat loves this thing. It's solid, doesn't wiggle and it's easy to put together. Great item.
