This is a must have for cats. Well made, easy to put together, very functional. 3 in 1: scratch post, toy (ball in bottom and hanging feathers) and the brush. Great item, well worth the money. It doesn’t take up too much space either. Would be great for a small apartment.

After the catnip dissipated, none of my cats have touched it. Product isn't that large and my 18 pounder would knock it over. I'll probably end up giving it away. Seems to be a good product though. Not a good test run. Easy to put together.

If I had it to do over again, I'd have paid an extra 10-25 dollars for one with more weight at the base. My cat does not seem to lie this, though she's a big scratcher and somewhat playful. I think the main reason she isn't going back to it is that it's not stable and it scares her to have it rock and tip. It's not without some weight, so it's not like the company didn't try to weight it, and the cat stops before she pulls it over. But it's just not quite enough for a full grown cat, it seems to me. It goes together very easily-and I'm not good with things like this but it was designed to be very easy. I give it good marks for that. I'm going to try to add catnip and if the cat comes back and uses it regularly after that, I might get to rate it fairly on durability. It's a solid product, but a little more money for a little more weight and maybe height and it's another level better.

The scratch post works well for the new kitten. She loves the stability of the post,it doesn't flip over when she is sharpening those claws. The quality of the productis top notch.
