This is replacing a scooper that the in-laws bought for us. The 32" arm is longer than most others which is super helpful when rummaging through the grass in the back yard. The one thing I wish it had was bigger claws. The previous (unknown) version had decent sized claws, call them maybe an inch, inch and a half. They sifted through the grass very well to pull up those buried gems when I didn't mow when I was supposed to. The claws on this are a little smaller so it takes a little more effort to dig those gems out of the grass cleanly.

I do not have a dog but I do have cats and a bad back. I have trouble bending to clean the litter box. It occured to me that this tool would also help me with those clumps in my cats box. It has become my favorite cleaning tool. Hangs on a peg right where I need it. Strong and sturdy

I bought it so poop bags can be used it is hard to get the bags in the jaws there should be a lock so the jaws stay open putting in the bags

I never thought I'd find myself saying yes to a pooper scooper, but this has changed my dog's walks. I hate those bags and you can use them but bending over and then standing back up can be a bit sketchy for me. This nice long tool makes that a thing of the past. I'd recommend it.
