I installed the hydrant only after a week I realized it was leaking out the bottom when closed. This was wasting my water. Now I have to pay to have it dug up again to replace it. Junk don’t buy it. Plunger is cut at bottom see pictures.

This faucet is much more substantial to the one it's replacing. The unit in the backyard has been freeze-split since I moved in, but I've not needed it until this year, so it was timely to see this. The price compares to the ones at the hardware stores. No reason to think it won't last the duration.
