I absolutely love the rose color of this jacket. I can be seen while I’m running AND it’s attractive. I bought my usual size- medium- and fits perfect. I can even wear a quarter zip shirt - light or fleece-lined- under it depending on the outside temp. I wear it for running and it’s definitely windproof. I can’t say anything about the rain- haven’t worn it in the rain yet. It’s great in the snow!! It’s got plenty of pockets. The only improvements I would suggest, but definitely is not a game changer, is a 2-way main zipper and a chest pocket. The sleeves are easy enough to unzip and zip back up while running but you can not take them all the way off during a run. Just fyi- I use a running vest if I don’t want sleeves or take them off BEFORE you start out. It’s pretty light weight for the protection it gives, good value for the money, quality of the material is soft yet seems like it will last . Hope this helps.

Ordered a large and it fit well, enough room on the hips but slightly tapered in the waist. Zippered pockets are great, thumb holes/hand covers were comfy. I wore this as a top layer for a 40+ mile cycling tour, in 50 degrees with light mist and rain on and off for 5 hours and it held up well, kept me dry and warm, photos shows water beading up on the surface. Really nice color too it’s between a navy and a slate grey tone. Only downside is it’s not lined and the shoulder part where the zippers meet at the top is a little odd but it didn’t bother me at all. Glad I ordered!

Love the color. Well made. Rainproof. However the material isn’t as wind proof as I’d hoped.

My husband purchased a 33,000ft. jacket from Amazon and we were so impressed by the quality that I bought this women's Zip-Up Lightweight jacket to wear on my morning runs. It's perfect for those cold mornings and it repelled the "sprinkles" that were falling the other morning. It really keeps me warm so that I don't have to wear lots of layers - one lightweight shirt/turtleneck under this jacket does just fine! I can't wait for warmer weather so that I can zip off the sleeves to wear this as a vest during cooler late-winter/early spring morning runs. Highly recommend this jacket to anyone who's active - it's attractive enough to wear every day, even if you're not working out! I probably should have ordered a small, but the medium works just fine. Highly recommend.UPDATE: I loved this jacket so much, I ended up buying the Bright Rose color one in addition to the blue one! These jackets are great quality, wash up well, and keep me warm during the cold Pennsylvania winter mornings. And the photos of the jacket colors (blue and bright rose) are spot-on. As I mentioned in my previous review, I am looking forward to taking the sleeves off to wear as a vest. They do run slightly big (I bought a medium, again, but could have easily purchased a small which is my usual size...), but they are not bulky at all. I highly recommend these jackets for anyone who is a runner or walker and loves the outdoors but hates being cold.

I love this jacket. I’ve never liked wearing jackets because they are so confining. Not this one! It gives just enough that it’s not confining at all. It does a great job of blocking the wind but is breathable so you don’t have to continually take it off and put it on. It’s by far my favorite jacket! I’m 5’6†and weigh 145 pounds. The large fit just fine but I ordered an x-large so I could wear a sweatshirt or sweater under it. I still like how it fits. I like the reflective stripes on it for wearing at night. I like everything about it!

did not use this as a running jacket or rain jacket (lacks a hood) but i used this as my airport vest to help carry my documents and some essentials to take the weight off of my carryon (similar to what SCOTTeVest). it did work, but the inner pockets are falling apart after just that one trip. really needs stronger inner pocket material. the back pocket was extremely useful for carrying a lot of things, and the zippered front pockets made it easier for me to keep my documents secured and not be falling out. i was initially using the inner pockets for my documents, but those fell off in my brother's car (and not elsewhere, what a relief!). the material in the inner pockets are quite flimsy that a pen tore through a hole in it after one use the detachable sleeves made it more breathable for me to wear through the philippine and dubai airports, thank goodness! i may have to wear some shoulder pads on whatever shirt i'd be wearing under this vest to add some structure and support when putting a lot of stuff in the pockets.so, this vest needs a detachable hood and stronger inner pockets

Great fit! Lightweight yet warm. Worked well on a cool nighttime bicycle ride. Zips high up on neck to keep out chilly wind or lays flat with collar for regular wear. Love the long arms and thumb hole so it can stay over top of hands for added warmth as needed. Beautiful blue color with reflective areas on back. Highly recommend

I love this jacket. I live in north California and bike every day to work. So in the morning, it is quite breezy even in the summer while in the afternoon it gets hot. This has been a great jacket for spring, early morning, and late afternoons in summer. If it gets too hot, you can open it and/or remove the sleeves. when it is breezy I can just wear a t-shit under it and it will help with the wind. It also looks nice and neat for people who like to keep their style nice. I highly recommend it.
