The fingerboard is very nice, the turners are large wheel brass with steal shafts, the strings are metal flat wound, the neck is very nice after fitting and sanding. I made a template for the machine head and drilled before mounting. I'm very satisfied with my purchase the sellers was easy to contact and work with. I will be buying more kits as needed.

Hals und Griffbrett sind schon vorbereitet aber relativ dick. Ich habe den Hals um 6mm dünner machen müssen, sonst wäre das Ganze zu klobig. Der Kopf ist für die Mechanik schon vorgefräst, es fehlen nur die einzelnen Löcher. Die Mechanik an sich ist einfach und nicht gerade hochwertig. Die Saiten habe ich gar nicht erst verwendet. Sind einfache Stahlseiten. Was mir nicht gefallen hat ist der Saitenhalter aus Plastik. Und die Brücke ist beim ersten Spannen gleich gebrochen. Zum Glück hatte ich noch eine da. Preis/Leistung ist gerade noch okay. Aber um meinen ersten selbstgebauten Kontrabass herzustellen hat das Set gereicht. Das nächste mal würde ich mir aber die Komponenten geziehlt einzeln kaufen.
