My tankless water heater didn’t come with these. I was told you need these to be able to flush out your tankless water hear 2 times a year so purchased these. Easy install.

The cold water assembly side would not stop dripping no matter how much it was tightened. With brass fittings, it is important to avoid overtightening, so I generally start out with a modest amount of torque. Increasing the torque incrementally did not solve the problem, and eventually, I quit and removed it from the tankless water heater to avoid doing damage to the expensive heater. These were obviously not properly threaded, possibly out of round or unsharp cutting tools during the manufacturing process. Too expensive to have quality issues like this.
