Nothing to not like here. Appears to be well made, threads are sharp, threads maple like it was soft butter.

I bought to clean the threads on the spindles and nuts on my exmark mower. When changing the spindle bearings you sometimes have to drive the spindle out of the bearings because of rust and the threads get a little boogered. This cleans them right up so you can screw the nuts back on by hand. no more than i will use them they will last a lifetime. don't forget to use cutting oil, make the job a lot easier.

Threaded 4 tie rod end links with this in some 1/4†wall tubing, went through it like butter. Good product, was expecting it to snap but never happened. Can’t speak to extended use

I bought the tap (die was included) for a one off job to tap some holes in Aluminum which it did to my satisfaction. I then needed to thread some steel rod but the die struggled with the job. I used cutting lubricant and a fair sized die handle but it was hard work.I don't think the die will be much good for anything else now except brass or soft steel as it is basically blunt. If I had bought the die as a keeper tool it would have gone back for sure.To sum up:Tap and die are okay for soft materials when you just need to do a one off job, for longevity and to use on harder materials spend a bit extra. Buy quality buy once.

I do alot of metal fabrication work and used this for a piece of 2x3 square stock and it handled it very well. I went through 4 pieces and at the end of it all, it is still sharp. I'll be buying a back up one for sure!

The tap works ok, but the die is cut smaller than standard and chews off a lot of good material from bolts that need only minor cleanup.
