These must be the highest quality taps I have ever used. I am shocked, being a machinist I have used just about every brand out there, at least name brands, and these perform better than any of those. I have never seen a tap especially as small as a 3mm run this smooth and without breaking. Not one tap broke under heavy use of well over 100 holes in 1.5" 6061 aluminum. I used the same tap for 25 holes then in .75" 1018 steel and not one problem, tap is still like new. I don't know what they are made of but I am very impressed!

I use this size tap daily and this product is decent for the price. I broke one but it was my fault. Threads last well.

These cut right through like butter, I had bought two different taps before these where one broke and the other broke inside the hole. I found these and decided to buy them because it had 10 of them so I thought I would go through a few broken ones but I was able to use only 1 to make 20 taps and still like new.I used them for some extruded aluminum and used a drop of WD40 each tap and it just cut right through.Definitely buying other fo these in other sizes.

Cuts great, I ordered the other metric sizes and they all cut oversize. These are good and a great value. M5 was ok, make sure you test against a nut before you ruin a project by potentially oversizing the threads.

I needed M4x7 taps for a project. The material is brass, so I thought I could get by with these. There is no taper tap for starting. All 6 are regular taps & have marginal cutting ability.the 1st one I used didn't want to cut very well, so I tried another & I was able to complete the threads in the side of a brass guide sleeve for a black powder gun ram rod. I've bought other taps on Amazon & always got excellent tools. I think this is the 1st time I bought metric taps though.
