This scratching post is perfect! Super tall so my very very large kitten can fully stretch out. All of my cats had a good scratch on it within a few minutes. It seems super sturdy and aesthetically looks great as well.

I think this is the best scratching post I’ve ever purchased at this or any other price point. It’s perfect. It’s tall, seems well-constructed, the post itself is solid (some posts seem like they’re about to snap in half), and the base is solid and quite heavy (your cat shouldn’t be able to pull this over). It doesn’t have any toys or extra stuff, but my cat has never been interested in those so that’s honestly a perk. Maybe the only downside is it really is quite a hefty post and takes up a fair bit of space. I’d love to buy another but I live in a 650 sq ft apartment and I think two of these would overwhelm my home lol. But otherwise, it’s great, and I wanted the heft. I’m tired of scratching posts that look like they’re made of two pieces of cardboard. This is the only scratching post I saw (at this price point at least) that included the height of its base; they know it’s a solid post and they can back that up with dimensions.And of course, photo to show it has my cat’s seal of approval as well. She was scratching it before I could even finish screwing it together (which was very easy but to be fair no easier than any other scratching post).I honestly don’t know why I’m raving about this to this extent, but I just got off the phone after convincing my mom to get one too so, now I guess I’m here to convince y’all.

Bought this to keep my cat from scratching the sofa...seems to be working. Great size and my one cat likes to perch on the top. Super easy to put together and all the parts were included in the box. Great value for the $$. I'd purchase again. Good quality

This is the best cat scrathing post yet! As soon as my husband put this together, she ran over to it and wasn't sure to hug it; or to scratch it. It is much wider,and taller than the others. It's much better built than the ones I have bought from Amazon. I highly recommend this. The rope around it is sturdier the base and the attachment under it is superb!👠Even the carpeting goes underneath it and the base doesn't allow this tall wide cat scratcher to fall over no matter where you put it. It is worth the money and it is so easy to put together nothing's falling apart when putting it together either. Really highly recommend this .ðŸ‘ðŸ‘👠It'll last longer than the other scratching posts lasted pretty much a year. My cat was on her own outside her first year. Now she's home with us. Her wild side is released on the posts. Her stretching is definitely better now that she has this more suited scratching poste. She was lean and muscular and wired to run and fight when we got her now she enjoys tearing up the scratching posts. ðŸ‘ðŸ‘ðŸ‘

We have had ours now for a year and it shows only minor fuzzing from all the aggressive scratching by our cats. This is just amazingly durable. It was very easy to assemble and the large base keeps it from ever tipping over. It has saved our sofa and chairs.

Love this scratching post! We have purchased several and this one is nice and tall with a bigger diameter. Sturdy, and seems very durable. Love the black, it's less obvious in the corner of the room.Would buy again for sure.

Very easy to put together, all parts included, took about 5 minutes or less. Our cat does like it as he can stretch up quite high and it has a wide sturdy base. The rope is a bit prickly to me, but I'm not a cat! Would be nice to have a dangly ball hanging off it, but I have tied some toys to it and that works.
