I'm building a small cabinet for the guest bathroom, and because of the odd dimensions of the room I had to custom build a cabinet for it. This concealed hinge jig kit made it super easy to install the hinges on the door. I'm sure if I tried to free-hand it, the cabinet doors probably would have looked like they were out of a Dr. Seuss book. I believe that having the right tool for the job makes all the difference, and this is the right tool.

The bolt that keeps limiter in place is not super reliable. And if it doesn't hold you can easily drill through the sheet, especially if it's thin enough. Otherwise, good.

My husband has been looking for a kit like this for a long time. He's had some hinges that he wanted to replace, but lacked the kit to do so. He found this and decided to try it. He says that this worked perfectly. Once clamped down, nothing moves. You can set the depth, which is a very good thing, he tells me. All drilled holes were accurately placed. It very easy to store; he keeps it in a smaller tool bag that he takes with him when we go to our cabin. I noticed in other reviews that people complained about it not including any directions. Husband said that his kit did have instructions with it. Not that he'd look at them though. He's very pleased and I finally got the soft close cupboards that I have been wanting, so I'm happy too.

This jig is almost useless aside from the drill bit. There is no instructions and it is not clear how to use it. Even to a wood worker it is confusing.

Was indispensable when I built the new doors for our kitchen cabinets. able to mark, and put hinges, exactly where needed for our custom cabinets. Saved me hundred, or more, then having the cabinets built for us. Was able to make all new doors to keep cabinets the same. Easy to set-up and use.

Rebuilding some cabinets, and wanted to try concealed hinges. Grabbed this jig kit as it seems to be pretty simple and lets me drill accurate holes. As mentioned by another reviewer though, there are no instructions included, so if you aren't able to figure it out via context, knowing already, or research, good luck, haha. The pieces feel like they are built well, so hopefully these last a decent amount of time for a handful of cabinets that I need it for.
