This set of four Forstner rill bits is a very good value for the money and the performance is first class.They do a very clean cut and remove material quite fast. I was impressed.

Have not opened the package. Inspection through plastic cover revealed some imperfections on the edges of side cutters. I am not sure if that affects the performance but that is not what I am expecting from Made in Austria Freud bits. Made in China looks similar. Decided to replace with another brand.

These really are precision bits!There are no rough edges, everything is nearly mirror polished, the edges are razor sharp (and strong), and the sizes are accurate. They make the cut feel like butter, to the point of not even having to push...they just glide through the wood at full! The wood shavings it leaves are super-fine, and the cut is smooth without burning. After multiple, back to back cuts, the bits do not heat up. Also, they really are Made in Austria, says so on my packaging, and you can see it with the in-person quality.I 100% recommend this Freud bit set, as I think it is the best set of bits that I currently own!

I needed these to countersink the heads on some large construction lag screws on some doug fir beams.These are super sharp and cut beautiful holes. Very happy I didn't buy the cheap junk.

These bits are nice and sharp and remained sharp even though I was drilling oak. There was no tear-out and they drill a nice flat-bottomed hole. The only drawback is they come in a bubble pack instead of a case.

I bought a set of these about a year ago and I am still impressed. These bits are razor sharp and their shanks are dead on straight. This means you get excellent control when drilling your holes. The blades cut smoothly and consistently. The bit does not wobble and the tip of the bit is perfectly centered. I should have bought these years ago. Stop struggling with spade bits and get the right solution. If these were lost or stolen I’d by another set in a heartbeat.

I bought this kit thinking I would add other sizes down the road, but truth is that this one is just too limiting... I would at least buy the 7 piece kit that comes in a wooden case. That said, they're amazing, cuts like a dream and super accurate holes

Ya tenia 2 brocas forstner marca Freud y hacen un trabajo mas que excelente por eso decidà comprar éste paquete de 4 y quedé mas que satisfecho, la calidad de corte es muy alta, el acabado no podrÃa ser mejor, lo recomiendo ampliamente, si es Freud es calidad, creeme. Gran inversión en herramientas profesionales. Si abres el empaque con cuidado puedes usarlo como estuche.
