Easy to put together. I checked it with a machinist square and it was dead on. Love being able to mark a 90 on 2 edges at the same time as well as a quick 45. Also being able to draw a straight line along an edge just by placing a pencil in one of the hole and dragging makes life a little easier. The included mechanical pencil and extra lead is an added bonus. I'm thinking about picking up the larger version also.

I got this one because it was BIGGER, most of them are kind of small. Also this one was the cheapest and it came with the mechanical pencil as a bonus, other ones of this type may be more versatile but if you know what you are doing and what you need it for THIS one does the job.My first impression was THIS is quality construction, there is nothing cheap about it. There are others of this type that have a build in peg system to get angles but I have a stair gauge that will work just fine with this and I kind of like the wide open center.This is a tool that will last a lifetime, I wish I had gotten one years ago but I thought a regular carpenters triangle was enough, THIS is so much better.

I bought this for the square but kept it for the pencil. My new go to pencil design. The square comes in 2 pieces you use the 2 supplied screws and tool to put them together. I didn't notice at first but the ruler on the square was slightly off from standard. I bought another square and it was right on. There may be some quality differences between each one.

I have to admit, I was skeptical when I saw that you had to assemble the square. But once I put it together, I checked it against my more expensive squares and it is dead on accurate. Great design and I look forward to using it.

I love this multi-angle measuring square. I use it every day in my shop. It is perfectly square at a fraction of the price of the "other" red measuring tools. Also, nice that it comes with a mechanical pencil with extra leads. The pencil even has a built-in sharpener. Very nice combo.
