Looks just like the more expensive calvan kit but it's not working. Been using my cordless ratchet and can't get the reamer to drill the new hole. Been trying for hours. I should have got the real kit not this chinese junk

Well if you know anything about Ford's and you say the word Ford Triton you know what means trouble for the ultimate wisdom chose to make an aluminum in the head and put in steel spark plugs which causes electrolysis and eventually corrodes the threads holding the plugs in and sooner or later you'll be driving along and your car will launch a spark plug out of the spark plug hole because the threads are corroded away. When my mother pulled into the driveway with the noise the car was making I was scared for her safety the car makes so much noise with the plug missing while the car was running. That was my first experience with the Ford Triton motor and was the last we immediately got online to find out that Ford's use of aluminum heads causes this problem . This is awesome it is all inclusive it's got team or bit the threaded tap the new threaded inserts which as per recommendation of my mechanic was JB welded in for permanent repairs and light weight 24 hours to cure . How it works is you remove the plug there's a guide that fits into the spark plug that will hold the ream and the threader in the perfect position needed to drill and tap for a new insert once the new insert is JB welding replacing cure it's permanent the kit is the very good quality and an amazing value for the money concerning some of the kicks that did the same thing with the same exact products and it will well over $300 so the value for one for the money was fantastic and as far as performance it worked beautifully it gave us back our vehicle where we would have had to buy a new motor. I am far from a professional mechanic just a DIY I like the rest of us and this kid after reading the instructions and watching a couple of YouTube videos was very easy to use and it fit perfectly the rims and taps and dies are all predetermined and there's no thinking just follow the instructions and you will have your call back I would definitely recommend this you can do this at home if you have basic mechanical skills the quality is good and it all comes in a blow mold in case I would definitely recommend this for anyone interested in having a happy household and a running Ford Triton

First thing first, this kit looks already used and no instructions manual like it is shown in the picture. I am no expert but still need some kind of instruction. The screw tap don't look new and it's not a perfectly fit into the guide. You can wiggle it side by side, unlike the drill bit was a perfect fit. The inserts' quality looks cheap, I am afraid of putting that in the block, don't know if it can with stand the heat. Overall I couldn't trust this kit.

I have a 2001 F150 5.4, and my number #6 cylinder spark plug went bad. The threads on the cylinder head are pretty fine, so I can’t secure a new spark plug. Even though it’s a backup truck, it’s still in great shape, but I can’t push it to the limits. After watching some videos and comments on YouTube, I decided to give it a shot since I had nothing to lose. The process was quick and easy. I finished cutting the new hole and threading it in about 15 minutes. Just make sure to blow out all the shavings; I used a small bore scope to check when there were no shavings left in the cylinder. The kit is designed specifically for 1997-2003 V-6 and V-8 applications. The insert quality is 100% better than the thread coils from auto parts stores—heavy-duty and built to last. I highly recommend it. Make sure to watch the video before ordering to be prepared. It’s not hard. It did exactly what I needed would definitely recommend buying.
