Worked great for installation of MaxJack. I have stronger than normal concrete, but this was not a problem for the drill bit. I do not think I hit any rebar to comment on how this would drill through metal.

As with most masonry drills they don't last long. To be fair I was drilling through a 12 inch wall of old very tough concrete.

I'm impressed! This pair of 3/4x12" Hammer Drill Bits arrived quickly and are much better quality than the bits available at the Orange or Blue box stores, and at a fraction of their price. I appreciate the engineering of these Cross-X carbide tips with their double-helix shaft ... just so obviously better than the single Tee points and single helix you see on other bits ... even (so-called) "premium" bits. I only need to drill a single hole in my house slab, but I ordered the pair because buying these costs less than renting a hammetr drill and a single bit for four hours.

Have it a 4 rating just because it came a day late. Bit worked perfectly though. Went through an old brick wall like butter.
