Use for driving rebar spike into ground, worked as needed. The spikes had a 1 in head so my regular driver wouldn't work, this did.

I got this to install mending plates on my home built in place trusses because I can't get a 20 ton press up in the attic. It gets pretty noisy during the process so hearing protection is necessary but using my impact hammer drill sure does push those plates as far in as a press does. A large hammer is also used to assist the process. It does work quite successfully. 5 Stars from me

This is not long enough for any useful work. It was a good price but I don’t see where I can use it.

I did not get to use it because the metal post mender that I was suppose to use it for went in without needing it. It seems to visually of good quality and will keep it for future use. The cheapest of the same kind on Amazon listings.

I used this to drive 1/2" rebar into the ground. We had a warm spell these last few days in the northeast. Normally a 3lb sledge is the tool of choice, but I've been using my Bulldog Bosch hammer drill more often for some of these light demo and similar tasks. It definitely is better than a hand sledge. Obviously, rocks are an issue with any method, but this made it easier. If I was just setting a piece or two for string lines, I'm not sure it's as convenient to set up the hammer drill, but for repeated drives, it takes the pain out. Definitely worthwhile to have in your tool bag if you have an SDS-Plus hammer drill.

I use this SDS plus ground rod driver bit on my cordless sds plus rotary hammer to pound in rebar and rebar stakes. It works faster than pounding in by hand because on some days depending on the job I'm pounding in a lot of stakes. Good bit at a very reasonable price.
