The troubles that can be solved for you:

Does what it says. I was able to add a 49mm filter to my lens with a 39mm filter ring. Seems well made.

The step up adapter (42mm - 49mm) does the job in combination with a step down adapter(49mm-42mm) attaching the 49mm filter in between the adapters, incorporating the filter into the t mount system (42mm).

Very light, the threads match fairly well; probably not durable enough if taken off and on many times, but once in place there is no need to remove it, so the thing is fine.

Should work well. Threads appear to be of sound quality. Should last me forever. Price was right and Amazon got it here quickly.

Used on LX 100 camera, built in lens. Wanted to use a set of three diopters, all 40.5 mm thread.Stepping down, the fear is always vignetting. Widest angle, 24mm on this, camera, happy to report No Vignetting. Happy to be able to use these +1, +2, +3 diopters after their forced state of idleness for many decades.

Got the 39mm to 58mm adapter for my Fujifilm 27mm lens and it fits perfectly; I can continue to use my 58mm filters.
