Quality build. Works great with most of my Canon lenses, except the nifty fifty, which only works in a quasi-lens whacking mode. Something about the alignment on the lens doesn't permit the focus ring to have an effect when attached to my G7. I've seen other reviews that say it works with their 50mm, others say it doesn't; I'm one of the unlucky ones. Still, well worth the price - it's quick to attach, solid, and feels like it will last a long time.EDIT 3/31/18: After toying around a bit, I've found a way to get this to work with my Canon 50mm. It involves attaching the lens to my T3i, obtaining focus, and then reattaching the lens to my G7. Sometimes the focus ring works, sometimes not, but after attaching the 50mm it will be in focus, though only at the exact focal distance (100mm for me due to 2x crop factor). I like this product enough that I ordered a few older Canon EF lenses, so I'm still a happy customer.

I got this adapter to use some semi-functional EF-mount lenses with my OM-D E-M5. I wasn't expecting this good an adapter for the price. Feels very solid, infinity is preserved and focus scales seem to still be accurate. Of course you don't get autofocus, but manual focus works perfectly well in most scenarios. In addition, there's no way to change the aperture with this adapter directly. Instead, you either have to use lenses wide open (which makes manual focusing a bit difficult) or attach a lens to an EOS camera, hold down your DoF preview button, and then take it off and put it on the adapter. This is a bit of a tricky process and certainly not suited to fast-paced professional shoots, but for landscapes or studio photography where nothing's moving very fast it's a great, inexpensive way to use nice lenses with alternate systems.

I bought this to use some of my Canon and 3rd party EF lenses on an Olympus E-M1 Mark II camera. As I have most general lenses for the E-M1 I really only needed it for 2 of the EF lenses, one a Tamron 150-600 and the other a Canon 100mm Macro. Both worked properly with this adapter and I was able to get good sharp and very usable photos with it. However there are some restrictions with this adapter that should be mentioned. One, this is a "dumb" adapter in that it has no electronic components and thus there is no communications between the lens and the camera. That means that auto-focus, aperture adjustment and lens stabilization will NOT work. If you need those you need to look for some of the more expensive converters that contain electrical connections. Two, your camera will not know a lens is attached so you need to make sure you can shoot "without a lens".Third, since your lens becomes a strictly manual lens you can not adjust the aperture from the camera and you will either end up shooting wide open or you will have to set the aperture of your lens with the native camera for the lens and then find a way to dismount the lens without resetting the aperture. I do this with the DOF button on my Canon.Lastly, you have to be prepared to focus manually. If your camera provides "focus peaking" you might want to use that to get your shots in proper focus. If you are prepared to use your camera with the above restrictions this is a great little adapter and I have been able to use my EF lenses to good advantage and been very please with the results. The adapter seems solid and well made, but comes without any case or end caps to keep it clean and undamaged. Mine came in a plastic bag and I now store it, in my camera bag, in that plastic bag or leave it attached to one of my EF lenses in the lens case. Since this adapter fits an EF lens on one side and a M4/3 camera on the other you probably can also buy an Olympus lens end cap and the Canon camera body cap. That is what I plan to do to keep this clean.

I bought this lens adapter to use my old Canon EF lenses on my LUMIX DMC-G7 camera. It fit the camera perfect and the EF lens also fit perfect. Nice and snug and absolutely no play. This is just an adapter and no electronics, so the lens just becomes manual focus which I knew that before purchasing. So it’s perfect for what I’m using it for. The camera will give a warning message that no lens is attached. I just had to change a setting on the camera to allow it to shoot without a lens. Now I have a good variety of older Canon lenses to use. I recommend this adapter!

This adapter is dumb, meaning it does not enable the electronics inside the Canon lens. I use this adapter to attach my old Canon lens to my Olympus camera. It works well in that regard and is a very solid piece of camera equipment. With the price being what it is, it's worth it if all you want to do is attach a lens. However, it lacks the ability to auto focus, which causes a problem especially with my prime lens. So this adapter, being a good price and designated functionality, is not actually that useful in my opinion. A smart adapter is about $200 more though so decide if this is what you want.

Great value for someone with a M43 and a EOS camera. As expected you must use manual focus and you cannot change amputure. Image is a little softer than when using it on a true EOS camera. I included a shot taken with a canon EF 75-300 1:4-5.5 III USM on the Panasonic lumix dmc-g7 mirrorless camera. No complaints about this adapter does everything as expected. Great if you want to use some cheaper used lenses. M43 lenses are pricey and some vintage lenses can come cheap, perfect temp solution while saving for a high end lens. Now my wife and I can share EOS lenses.

HabÃa leÃdo alguna crÃtica negativa y me hizo dudar. He usado el focus peaking y no he tenido problemas al enfocar.
