-Update 12/12/2020-It took several months but Amazon has finally learn the difference between 1000 grams and 500 grams. I've upgraded my initial review to a full 5 stars. In addition to working wonderfully in my Elegoo Saturn it has splendid results from my Phrozen Mini 4K-Original review-I love this fantastic resin but Amazon can't tell the difference between 500g and 1000g bottles in the South East United States. Over my last 3 orders of 1000g they shipped only a single 500g bottle. This includes the replacement bottles after I submitted a return. I've had to buy the more expensive 500g to get my supply. As soon as they clear this up I will happily change my review to 5 stars as I love the results from my Elegoo Saturn but as of now the 1000g gray bottles are borderline false advertising.

Owning a 3d miniature printing business for the last few years was made possible because we use the best resin there is.... EPAX. We have tried everything, but there is not a single resin that performs like Epax hard and Epax Hard and Tough. If your settings are off a bit, no worries. It is so stable and produces such amazing detail that minor setting adjustments will not impact the mind-blowing results. Our customers cannot stop raving. You will see with your RERF that is generates amazing results in a wide range of settings. Not to mention that you can drop in hot water after a rough alcohol rinse and the supports separate so easy without any compromise to the print. Just Amazing!!! 6STARS!!!!!!!!!

The prints I have made with this resin seem to have a little better detail or crispness/sharpness than the Epax water washable resin I have also used. Cleanup with this resin is easy using alcohol. Curing has been easy and simple. There is a stronger odor to this resin; the water washable resin has less odor than the alcohol I use for cleaning, this is stronger than alcohol odor.Very happy with my first dozen or 15 prints. Great resin.

This is by far the best resin for large format resin printers. Even better for 4K Mono LCD resin printers, it's what it was designed for. Large, tall prints as well as super fast exposure 4k mono printers need the right resin to perform at optimal levels.Attached picture shows a very tall print, but only using about 5% of the print bed. This is a great test to show how the resin performs on a tall print without any over exposure issues on the part or the FEP. My prints with this resin all come out perfectly like this.EPAX Hard Resin takes first place!

I've been using Epax resin now for a while and I much prefer it over Siraya Tech Fast. The smell is worse if that bothers you but it cleans easier and the finish is a little nicer. It's definitely a tough resin. It seems more durable then Siraya Tech. It's not as brittle. My only complaint is the vendor. All of my orders came from the same vendor and one had a loose cap which caused the resin to leak. Fortunately the resin is in a sealed bag so no mess. I returned that one for a replacement. And the date is usually around a year old already. Shelf live is said to be a year on most resins. I don't keep a large stock on hand so for me it's fine but it's something to keep in mind. This bottle has a 9-21 date on it so it's just about a year old already.

First resin ever used and no problems with prints besides scenarios I created myself. The resin is great. My only gripe, which is resin industry wide, is pieces being brittle. But that's common among all resins except Ameralabs TGM-7!

This has rapidly become my favorite resin to use in my work as a professional miniature painter. I print and paint dozens of models each month, and the EPAX Hard Gray resin gives me the fine detail that I look for as a display model painter. By extension, it has limited shrinkage and multi-piece models have great tolerance between parts. Not only does it hold detail very well, but it's durable and doesn't smell as awful as many of the other resins I've used. It also isn't as viscous as other resins, meaning it backflows well and limits the need for long light-off-delay times. This also aids in any cleanup, as it flows from the vat easily. I would recommend this resin to anyone looking to maximize on the new Monoscreen printers. -slsmithminipainting

I got the resin today and have done a few test prints. So far these are some of the crispest prints I've pulled off my 4k Mini! It's a nice dark grey and shows detail well, looks great.Very hard, albeit a bit brittle, it feels like a good quality plastic in the hand. It cleans up better than any of the alcohol washable resins I've tried so far as well!To wash I dabbed the print a bit with paper towel, swirled in a dirty ISO bath to remove most of the surface resin, then onto a clean ISO bath with a trimmed paintbrush to get in the recesses. Also plopped the whole container in a water bath in my ultrasonic for 2 min, Finally a rinse under tap water before dry and cure.I dialed in my print settings and found 3.2s at 30µ to be around the sweet spot on my printer.
