I've tried other snail food with so-so results. This food is fantastic. One of the ramshorns will grab one for himself and speed off to eat alone, while the other pieces are totally covered with snails. These pieces don't dissolve or cloud the water, and my tank sides are covered in snail eggs, so they are clearly healthy

I got these food pellets to supplement the diet of my old-timer nerite snail Zunesha when bladder snails started populating my tank. What you see in the first photo are all the snails fighting over a piece of this food. The new shrimp I added to the tank are interested too. The jade green shrimp tried to pick up some smaller bladder snails and fling them off it, so I think that's all a testament to the fact that the ingredients in these pellets are things they actually want to eat.I've been giving them a couple pieces a week and I have noticed my nerite being more active. I do think it helps.
