to my baby black Ranchu for about 7 mos now. She's (if she's a she) been in a 5 gallon "grow-out" tank with a plenum filter and she's strong and healthy. Yes, I know that 5 gallons is tiny--hence the plenum filter-- but it's working and she's growing fine and is healthy. She's also got a tiny heater that keeps the water around 78 degrees, which is better for the fancies against bacterial infections. In fact, my 55gal GF tank (also with Dr. Novac's plenum filter) has a heater too and I've had NO issues AT ALL. NONE. Ultra Fresh GF food brings out her color. She's a nice, deep, velvet-mat black all over. I also feed Ultra Fresh "Royal Guppy" to my WCMM, Tiger Barbs, and Varitus Platys? Best food out there for your water pets.

My fish love this food , I have been feeding it exclusively for years and my fish are visibly healthy and thriving .The only downside would be the pellet size , they are small and my fish are now very large but I would not change to any other food , they seem to find it regardless.

A quality product product! Gradually sinking as there are bottom feeders which is easier on the fish. Floating is challenging for my fish as they are very cautious and nervous when it comes to feeding at the surface. My only reservation is the cost of the food . I combine with other fish food the only problem is that it floats on the top and the skimmer gets it before the fish get it. I'm not sure I save with the cheaper foods that float.

I would highly recommend this fish food for Oranda Goldfish. I noticed their color enhanced and I didn't have to worry about issues with swim bladder as much with the sinking pellets. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

It is exactly what I expected. It does tend to sink faster than other brands. The fish seem to like it, so I think is okay. I think the value for quantity is great also.

Advertised as slow sinking, it goes straight to the bottom at record speeding. So if you need slow sinking, this isn’t the one for your fishes
