Bought this and the resin to fix a cracked plastic bumper. It's all in the name - Bondo continues to be the go-to for body work. You know the quality is there and continues to exceed expectations. It was my first time repairing a plastic bumper with fiberglass mesh/resin. Followed the instructions and a few online tutorials. It turned out perfectly and saved me from having to buy a completely new bumper. I even used it on a splash shield under the car. Holding up just fine.

This was my first time working with this fabric. It's a nice quality product and once used with fiberglass it holds up well. An abundant amount for the price.

I used this to cover holes in the rear fender of my vehicle caused by rust. I cut out the rust and then recovered it with this fiberglass cloth. Then I also used it to repair my front bumper. It becomes stronger than the rest of the bumper. This is a genie cloth. Used with resin it is magic. Easy to cut, easy to use and the results are very effective.

Good stuff. I needed a woven fiberglass that would be able to flow in, out and around the contours of a boat transom and stringer joints, this is just the right thickness to work with. 3 layers of this with 3M polyester resin and a few smaller pieces of 24oz cloth to reinforce corners gave me just the right strength but kept it thin and lightweight. Thanks Amazon!

This 499 cloth worked well along with the Bondo 404 resin for some patching and repairs. The cloth is fairly thin, but still good quality and was adequate for what I used it for, especially since I planned on using at least two layers of it anyway. I purchased two packages and each contained eight square feet of cloth, so was enough to give a good amount of coverage. I ended up using approximately a quart and a half of resin per full sheet of cloth to get thorough saturation, so was glad I bought the gallon size can of resin instead of just a couple of quarts as I originally intended. Overall, this fiberglass cloth worked like it was supposed to so I would buy again if needed.

Really rather heavy. I ended up buying some 1.5 ounce cloth which creates a lighter laminate. It's not marked anywhere but i suspect this is at least 6 ounce cloth - possibly even heavier. Other than that there is nothing wrong with this cloth, in fact I'll likely use the rest for auto body repairs.
