I've used cheaper alternatives and didn't realize my frustrations were using them were due to how quickly they wore out and simply didn't have very good abrasion. The Cubitron II Roloc Discs are more expensive, but well worth it. HINT: as they wear out, trim the edges to expose fresh abrasive material.

They're a bit pricey, bust these things cut fast and last a long time. I have to give it to 3M, in a world where companies often cut corners after establishing themselves, 3M keeps a reputation of making stuff you can rely on to perform and these are no exception.I use them to grind weld beads on body panel welds. I initially mount them on a 3" backing arbor, then when the edges are worn down(a long time later) I mount on a 2" and trim the edges off. I also like that I don't have dust from cheaper doses I use to use flying around, mostly just the metal dust fom the actual grinding.

Box arrived unsealed. Disk count in box was 14 upon delivery. (Should have been 15.)I sure hope they perform 7% better than expected ‘cause that’s what they cost me.

These came so curved they can't be used for sanding sheet metal as you have to press so hard to flatten them out. Didn't open box until I was ready to use them and it was after Amazon returns date, 3M customer service didn't want to help at all. Big waste of money.

My go to disk. Nothing I’ve tried works as well. Those cheap Amazon disks are crap - these chew through metal, last and are 10 times more durable. Highly recommend.

All cubitron disks are super expensive, but they last long. I order the 3" then when the edge is dull cut them down to a 2".
