these things work great they are strong and well made not flimsy and easy to bend like others i have used in the past they fit perfectly as long as you follow procedure to use them they are sure to have your 3.6 back in time the first time and they can be used commercially as i use them i reccomend this product for sure

Both tools fit perfectly,slid right in and locked the cams into place. Much to my surprise while installing timing chains I heard a bang- and watched a cam spin- Even more surprising was to find that tool had deformed around the end of my cam.. probably a 1 in a million chance if that happening again,but figured I’d share

I needed this kit for an upcoming 2013 GMC Acadia I have, I'm waiting on the CAM phasers to arrive before starting. This kit comes with 3 cam retaining tools as the 3.6 has 2 stages for setting the timing. The camshaft kit arrived in a blue plastic case a set of gloves and the 3 retaining tools. Once I start this project I will come back and edit my review, but I have used this companies camshaft retaining kits for other engines in the past and had no issues.

Cheaply made don’t hold the gear still when you’re tightening down the phasers better off buying a better set
