At first I thought it was not fitting. The tolerances are very tight making it a very tight fit, and that is a good thing. You have to find the perfect spot for it to fit and that took some time playing with the gears. Highlighting the markings on the gears with white or yellow color is a must to be able too see the marks through the hole of this tool. At the end the tool helped me a lot and I was able to do everything by myself.

helps out when trying to slip the belt over the cam gears when in place, but the window that you see the alignment isn’t wide enough for aftermarket cam gears

Used this on my B20v with B16 head. Made doing timing belt 10x easier. Well worth the money. Fit perfectly.

In my case, I needed to soften the edges of the “teeth†because I’m using aftermarket cam gears, but it works great now. I’m sure it would work as intended on oem cam gears without any changes.
