There is a little bit of a learning curve with the smaller round handles. It didn't want to suction the first couple times I tried it as it is a stiff rubber, but I figured it out. Once it is on there it holds really well. I like these smaller round handles since I can use them with my smaller 3" and 4" rulers for fussy cutting. The larger cat handles fits on my 5" square diagonally as the smallest size and anything bigger than that.The suction cups held really well for me and give me more control plus they are just more comfortable on arthritic fingers than trying to mess with the flat ruler. Super happy with these because now instead of only having one ruler with a handle (a 5" x 24" that was my go to for everything) now all my rulers can have handles, and since they are easy to pop on and off minimal storage space.

I do a ton of sewing - quilting, bag making and garment sewing. For bags and quilts especially I need to do a lot of very precise cutting along a ruler or acrylic template and I would often get wobbly cuts at the end of my ruler since I was putting all my weight into the middle of it and making my elbow sore in the process. The cat ear version of this especially is a lifesaver when using a long skinny (2-4" wide 18" long) ruler - it is cute, easy to install and easy to remove and easy to press down on giving more of a spread of force along the two suction cup points to keep my ruler in place. The round handles are good for square/triangle templates - but honestly I use one of them now to hold my towel up on my glass shower door. It's not attractive but it works!

I have plastic and metal cutting guides, but when your only way to keep them steady/straight is with thumb and two fingers... the guides can sometimes slip. This handle is an awesome (and nicely affordable) solution. I can lean into it (using my palm as pressure, instead of fingers), and my guides don't slip anymore. I'm not really sure the two good-sized plug-handles are needed (or at least, how you'd use them when cutting). However, they're invaluable for hanging mirrors, so they make a nice lagniappe. I've had other handles like this for measuring tools, and they've all been so large that they become a problem themselves. These are just the right size and the suction cups stick well. They can be a bit stubborn to convince to let go, but that just means they stick really well while you're using them.

I do fabric art and use many sizes of rulers to measure and cut fabric. Sometimes I have had them slip and I have to recut the piece which is frustrating and can get costly. These devices help to prevent the rulers from slipping. There are three sizes and different ways of applying them to the rulers. They are a huge time saver and help to hold the ruler in place. I which I had them sooner. The only problem I have had is with them covering the ruler and blocking my view of the measurement lines. This is something you can get used to after using them.

Sometimes, it's easier to use a handle to hold the ruler in place when cutting fabric. This trio of handles does the job! With a simple push, they grip the ruler solidly and stay in place. Each suction cup has a tab so it can be released quickly when the handle needs to be switched to a different ruler. The grips are comfortable to hold. I like that they're big enough to grasp with my whole hand, yet small enough to store in a tight space. These handles are a great help when it comes to precision cutting.

The lever action suction cups are incredibly strong and easy to use, though the levers do require a little hand strength. The cat shaped handle is very cute, and uses fairly basic suction cups, but they still work plenty well enough for my rulers.
