So.. I won't be using these to wind lights or electrical cords.I will be using these to wind up super long KITE TAILS.It's not unusual to find kite tails that are 100 feet long these days for single line kites. These will help keep them neat and untangled.

These work well for coiling up lights and storing. They are lightweight and easy to pack. They are really intended for 1 strand though you can fit 2. The little handles are cheap and kept popping off and falling off so they weren't useful.

This was a great set! There is a good amount of storage place on these, allowing 30 feet of C9 lights to easily fit. Really like the clips on the end to secure the last bit of line and keep it wound up. Would definitely buy again!

So I wanted to try these instead of my usual extension cord organizers, but I am a bit mixed on the results. The positives are that they do work for storing lights, and having three in the pack is nice for the price. They can hold a decent amount of lights, and when they work right, they make storage pretty simple. However, the build quality is pretty disappointing. The handles feel really cheap and have a tendency to slide off while you're using them.I still use my extension cord organizers for most things, as they feel more sturdy. These work okay for lighter strands of lights, but I wouldn't trust them with anything heavy. For the price point, they're an okay solution, but I wish they had spent a little more on better quality materials and especially better handles.Overall, they work, but there is definitely room for improvement. If you're already using extension cord organizers, you might want to stick with those.

I have for years just used my hand and arm to wrap the lights into a ball, and having it tangled. Time to not longer having a ball of lights and battle the untangling of the lights as I hang them onto the tree. I have used extension cord holder, and those are just too long for storing with the other Christmas stuff. This is smaller and fits in the box with the other Christmas decorations. I do recommend something like this to store your string lights until the next time you have to use them.

I was actually surprised at how well these worked. One of them held about 70 feet of icicle lights with no problem. It was easy to use an maneuver. Should make it much easier to hang the lights back up next year.

I received this set of 3 in perfect condition. If only I had these last year. I used rectangles of cardboard to wrap the 8 million feet of Xmas lights onto... As you can imagine it didn't work that well at all. These Xmas light string winders are a keeper. These are also nice to have when storing the lights and garlands.Mini lights will work best with these light string holders. They are made of light duty but sturdy plastic.I did notice the part of the handle that turn/spin slip off pretty easily. Minus one star.

These are a great addition to my storage for Christmas lights! I found that my holiday lights get really tangled no matter how much I try to keep them straight and organized. These are lifesaver! It's always hard to find things that are convenient as well as store well, and these for develop. They store just fine The only thing is that the handles poke out a little. I wish the handles would collapse down on the sides instead of consistently poke out, but the handles are necessary to really wrap lights quickly. What works best, is to have two people putting the lights away so one person can keep the line taught.
