It is bone and everything is to the description but the nut's height is 7 but the description says 7.5 that .5 matters a lot with something like this

Does not fit my mandolin. Must be filed down to fit. Actually made of bone. Not a guitar nut like the description.

Too small for the mandolins I own. I have never held or played a mandolin with a neck/fingerboard that is as narrow as the the nuts I received from this vendor.
