This product is missing the pads to short out to select the mode you want to use. I can't use this sensor without mode selection.

They work, and are plug compatible with typical ultrasonic sensors, but... they give me bad readings in some applications. I wanted to aim it down a short 2" diameter pipe into a tank, and get a reading of the liquid level. I expected this to work based on other comments but I was getting bad readings. (Clearly bad, really short distance, so at least I knew there was a problem.) It also seemed fussy about how it was mounted (and getting accurate readings). I need to experiment more. I don't know if they are defective in some way or if I'm asking them to do something they were not designed for. I'll update this when I figure it out. Otherwise, in an open space, they work fine. No complaints there.
