Quality is ok if you just want to look at it. Function? It holds pins. It's not a beauty, but it is very cute. Value is ok. Comfort it's not, and the 3 sizes are ok. It won't stay up and is too light. Going to have to sew a weight in each one to keep them from falling over and onto the floor.

There are many of these traditional pin cushions on the market, and for many of them, there has been negative feedback as being too lightweight or poor quality. Not so with these pin cushions from NX Garden. While they are not quite the same as the ones your mom or grandmother had, they are very close. The stuffing in the tomatoes is placed in a plastic bag, but overall the tomato has a nice weight and it is easy to put a pin or needle in and remove it. I picked the tomato up, turned it upside down, and shook it. The pins and needles stayed in place. You get 3 pincushions in a zip lock bag. The small is about an inch, the middle about 2 inches, and the large about 4 inches in diameter. The strawberries traditionally contain emery to help sharpen the point, but with coated pins and needles, this function is not as necessary anymore. Historically the tomato and strawberry are to bring good fortune to your home. When the fresh products were not available, people made artificial ones for good fortune. Since pins and needles were precious items in years past, they were stored in the good fortune tomato! If you are looking for a practical pincushion and a bit of nostalgia, this set will fill the bill.

Super cheap and lightweight. Two of the three pin cushions wouldn’t stay upright, kept rolling even without any pins, super frustrating when trying to pull pins out and the cushion is rolling around. So lightweight it takes two hands to remove pins, one to hold the cushion down and still and one to pull the pin. These were returned asap!

Arrived quickly and exactly as described. I love this classic pincushion- adorable. And there were three of them- in sizes large, med and itty bitty. Super cute!
