I was pleasantly supposed at the quality of this Barlow, for the price anyway! I had it less than three days after i ordered it, i used it the day it came and I really like it, bright, clear viewing and a lot of magnification at a great price. What more could u ask for.

It does a nice job of magnification and that's what you're looking for. Work better with my 25 mm over my 10 mm worth the money.

This 3x Barlow performs great.1. It preserves quality very well2. Focus is slightly difficult to fine tune but when you get it (likely) will be clear.3. Depending on what you are looking at, the fit is about perfect for the moon & sun at 201x magnification. For large objects like Andromeda, you may need to switch to a smaller eyepiece. For planets it seems to enhance overall quality on Jupiter and Saturn. I did manage to get a photo of Uranus, but it was lost.In conclusion, this item is great for Lunar, Solar, Galactic, and Planetary viewing, it preserves quality, is a little hard to focus, and is about a perfect fit for things such as planets and the sun.*reminder to NEVER LOOK AT THE SUN THROUGH A TELESCOPE WITHOUT A SOLAR FILTER, YOU WILL GO BLIND!That’s about it, bye!

Better quality than then barlow lens that came with the new scope. The tightening screw threads stripped out on the plastc original.

Needed a 3X to get more magnification for the eyepieces I already have and didn't want to break the bank. This seemed like it would be decent. Turns out for the money it is an excellent value for the astronomer on a budget like me. Gives good views and magnifies as expected.

Delivered an exceptional clear closeup of the moon. Just the reason I bought it. I would recommend this lens.

If you stick it into a cheap telescope, then that's ok, because you can't tell if it's the Barlow or your telescope that gives you color fringing. Stick it in a good telescope and you will know that this Barlow is no better than something you could come up with for $5.00 . Blurry and color fringing, just another $10 and you'd get a lot better Barlow lens on dedicated astro sites.
