I bought this for safety reasons. My wife’s occupational therapist recommended that we use this for her safety. We have a couple of area rugs that are a trip hazard so I taped the entire edges down and it worked great. And will not ruin the carpet or hardwood floors. I am very pleased with the tape

This have the weakest adhesive. It's about a strong as blue painters tape.

We got this to tape up the windows of our RV before heading into a very dusty and windy location and while the width and thickness of it was great and felt high quality- the adhesive didn't hold up great after a few days. That being said, it didn't leave a residue on the RV when removing and I think it will work great for less extreme circumstances and perhaps not so exposed to the elements.

This has been great gaffers tape for us in photo/video set use. I like the width and add it to our tape inventory for use when the typical widths just don't "cover" our needs. It peels off nicely and reapplies very well for most uses - markings, cord management, lighting management, window covering, etc.The weird thing is that the paper roll inside says it is for shipping, which I am not sure I would use for. Also this is not duct tape and is not ideal for waterproofing or keeping out the elements. So keep that in mind, but it does lend itself very well to gaffing tape needs.Highly recommended as gaffing tape, but not as duct tape - there is a difference

As a crafter, I use this tape for a variety of tasks and it never disappoints. The 30-yard length gives me plenty of tape to work with, and the gray color is perfect for blending in seamlessly with my projects. One of the things I love most about this tape is how well it sticks. Once I apply it, I never have to worry about it coming loose or peeling off. It is truly heavy-duty and water-resistant, making it perfect for a variety of crafting projects.Overall, I am satisfied with this 1-inch gaffers tape. It has become a staple in my crafting supplies and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable and versatile tape for their projects.

This tape sticks well and peels well, so it fulfills the ideal role of gaff tape. It's stayed up even on a hinged door with some use, but doesn't take an enormous effort to take off. It's also easy to tear, even at four inches thick. As a bonus, being that thick, I can tear a strip lengthwise and get two strips of reasonable width to use, and it tears pretty straight, too. The surface is matte and just a little textured--not rough at all, but enough to give you something to grip onto.

The inner paper core on the roll of this tape is labeled “shipping†but is sold has gaffer’s tape. The tape barely sticks to itself on the roll and can barely hold a cardboard box lid closed. Still, the tape easily tears and can be used for simple tasks. Would not recommend for professional or heavy duty use.

I love gaffers tape because of how it doesn't leave any residue when removed. Think of it as expensive masking tape. I use it for many things I only want to temporarily tape. Masking tape will do, but it is usually thin paper and too weak. Gaffers tape is stronger, and will usually stick a little better than masking tape. This roll is HUGE at 4 inches wide. Great for some jobs where standard 2 inch just isn't wide enough to cover the cords etc you want to temporarily protect. For the price they want for this, it's a bargain. Just don't expect serious 3M quality.
