I bought these in a panic after we had bought 24 black light bulbs from another company that ended up being complete crap... good thing we tested them a little early! THESE bulbs are perfect! They supply a lot of light but still have the full backlight affect. They saved the Halloween party!

The bulbs give off a dark purple light. The bulb is about a 40w in brightness. It's good for a small covered porch. It's is not bright in an outdoor setting. Nice bulb for a smaller space.

2 of the 4 burnt out in less than 2 months only using an about 1 to 2 hours 3 or 4 times per week. The 3rd one burnt out in 3 1/2 months. When they were working they put out great light.

Lights worked as expected, first one stopped working after less then two weeks of nightly use. Second bulb still works but is used infrequently.
