I consider the 9000 load capacity as way over rated. I own another set of leveling jacks which are bigger and stronger, and they were only rated 4000 lbs. For most users, such rating might not matter and few have the capability to test it. But as referencing point, I just don't trust them to be able to uphold that much load. Intuition will probably work for most people. In terms of leveling jacks, theses are light duty or medium duty ones. They are smaller than the heavy duty ones. The build quality is similar to heavy duty ones. For most if not all of the users, leveling jacks are for the function, not the aesthetics. The pricing strategy of this product is terrible, for lower prices, I can get better and stronger jacks elsewhere. Roughly I'm talking about 25% higher prices for 50% less function (or load capacity etc).

I've been using these as part of a temporary wall setup, raising damaged joists just enough to correct for sagging. So far I am very pleased with these jacks.YMMV; I've incorporated these into a series of wall supports, as these were the perfect size and style for what I am trying to accomplish. After they've fulfilled their purpose, they will be repurposed into adjustable tool stands for my cabinet saw and etc. I expect these to see lots of use.
