These bulbs are hard to find in the big box stores and while I didn't really need two of them, I will say the price was good and they were well-packed, so the leftover bulb is easy to store until it's needed. This bulb size was used in a string of connect-a-light fixtures for a sight-impaired person's closet, so being able to order the bulb temperature to match the rest of the fixtures was important for seeing the color of the clothing.

I only needed to replace one light, but was forced to purchase two. Then, this light is too bright. I ordered warm white and cool white. There was nothing warm nor cool about either. Both are bright like the sun. Warm lighting is needed and I cannot seem to find it anywhere on Amazon.I cannot comment on duration at this time, however all lights fit perfectly and lit up.

OK, I'M ADDING A NEW REVIEW TO MY ORIGINAL REVIEW (WHICH I'M NOT SURE IS FOR THIS SAME BRAND/MODEL IN MY ORIGINAL REVIEW...)Less than 1 year ago August, I ordered replacement tubes from BlueX, and the item arrived totally broken, with pieces rattling inside package. I suspect they were broken before even shipped. This meant not only did I have to reorder, but I now have this hazardous material to dispose of, and I'm home-bound, so I have to call someone from City or County to come get this junk. As far as I can remember, Amazon sent me ONE replacement, which has now burnt out less than 1 year later. I paid for 2 originally. I am not happy with this whole mess.This is my original review, which may be for a different brand/model:It's a little too early (just a few days after installing these lamps) to know if they will perform well, but so far, so good.Will update this review if they fink out on me in a short time. Am used to buying GE brand replacement lamps, and they usually last a couple years.I don't know WHY this type of lamp is made the way it is, because it takes patience and high I.Q. to psych out how to insert and remove the dang things! Once I learned the trick, I actually wrote it down on the packaging, so it will be less aggravating next time I replace the light tube: To remove, you twist the tube TOWARD YOU and PULL DOWN; to install, you push the tube AWAY FROM YOU and twist.The light seems OK; I ordered WARM and am not sure I got WARM but it's a good bright light, so that's what counts.Good luck to anybody who's also confused/mystified about how to remove/replace these tricky little fellers!UPDATE: October 2019It's been about 10 months and the light's still shining bright. :-)

I needed to replace a built-in desk light that used this bulb. I liked that I only needed to buy a 2-pack as some of the offers were for many more than 2. They came extremely well packed for shipping and there was no damage. These were also soft white vs cool white and look much better. Very happy with purchase.I rated the installation value lower but that was not the fault of the light. It was just a difficult placement - hard to get the old one out and the new one in.

These bulbs are a very good value. They come expertly packaged However, the color is a little off. They are suppose to be a warm light but they do not match the other warm light bulbs I currently have. Granted they are a different company but warm light should be the same across the board. The difference is very noticeable so not sure what I will do.

The lights seemed fine - light is still good - no problems for a year since purchased on Oct '21. Replaced 1 of the original bulbs that came with the fixture - good fit - no issues so far.

Only one of the two fluorescent lights worked. The original skinny little box the 20†lights are sold in was put inside a big Amazon box with no packing at all. So those box of lights were bouncing around like a b.b. in a box car.
