I like the little planes and they work good. However definitely not for one year olds. Should be for kids probably over 3 when they are not taking everything into their mouth.

One of the planes arrived with a broken propeller—a piece that could cause choking. These planes are not suitable for children under 3 years old. I was very disappointed to return these as they look like they would be fun planes for kids.

These are very cute. I received three (3) birds in different colors, as shown. The listing now says age 3+; however, it only said "toddlers" when I ordered and the photos show toddlers younger than 3yrs. I got these for my g-g-niece's Christmas stocking, and she really likes them. She is 19 mos old.The wheels on these are egg-shape which makes them waddle as they move.... much like real pigeons running. They run well on hardwood, linoleum, and smooth concrete (concrete not recommended if you want them to last).There are only a couple of minor issues. They are tall, making it difficult for a younger toddler to push down the head without turning them over. I think the 3+ age recommendation is a good one. They do not roll on carpet, even the short-nap indoor/outdoor type. For carpet, choose a 4-wheel type car instead.All in all, these were a hit with both the baby and the adults. Honestly, the adults had great fun plopped on the floor staging pigeon races. The toddler will grow into them, until then we'll help out.

A cute animal sits inside each cockpit and each airplane is colored differently. They shoot across the floor quickly once pressed. Nice gift for any toddler that likes airplanes and things that go!

These are great. Well made and my son loved them. You push down on the cat and it goes flying. Can’t believe we got all 4 for the price. Definitely a great gift.
