The rubber/plastic mutes are very dense and the rubber/metal mute are difficult to attach. All the mutes have been difficult to use. I have other mutes that worked exceptionally well. These mutes are either ill designed or made out of an inferior material. Poor value!

The rubber practice mute and metal silencing mute work fine (not great quality but they work). The tourte style mutes aren’t designed correctly - there is no slit for the holes so can’t install the mute. I will cut my own but it’s kinda lame.

The round mutes are uncut and can't be used as is. I'm returning and buying a different brand.

My partner bought these as a gift not knowing that there would be many issues. The metal mute scratched my bridge and didn’t even fit. Neither of the tourte mutes had the slits necessary to be used on my violin so I had to cut them myself. The rubber mute's material prevents it from gripping the bridge properly, so the sound is still muted but not as much as it could be.
