Replacement for a Royal Heritage typewriter. Fit perfect and I did have problems initially with the type but soon found out the keys had excessive ink built up around the type so a toothbrush and rubbing alcohol to clean the keys and it cleared up the type perfect!$20 yard sale typewriter +$15 4 Replacement ribbons,I think is a great deal!

These ink ribbons work great in my Signature 100 Montgomery Ward typewriter which is probably from the 1960s. I did go through a roll in about 3 sheets of paper, but I was able to rewind it and keep using for a while. I would buy again!

These ribbons fit well on my old Sears manual typewriter. However, I wish the ribbons were inked a bit more, as the type is somewhat faint. Has anyone tried Re-inking them successfully? I’ve also read that unrolling and lightly put a few drops of WD40 along the ribbon to juice it up a bit to get a darker type. Has anyone used this method?

Just tried to use these to replace a ribbon and it seems like there's no ink. It fit on the spools but it doesn't type at all, not even a shadow of ink. I could even tell when I opened them that the ribbons are completely dry. I'm very disappointed but they were cheap and I guess I can try re-inking them but that is not what I was expecting when I bought them. I could just re-ink the original vintage ribbon in that case because these are also cheap quality. Zero stars if I could.

The spools did not fit tight. The ribbon was too loose. Maybe the arms that holds the ribbon is loose. When I typed every was very light.I took me a minute to install the ribbon, been a long time.I did not print anything. The Dart royal machine is old, I had it since 1971 and have not used it since 1973. Some of these problems could come because it is old.

I collect and repair vintage typewriters. The most common issue I run into when cleaning and testing a new typewriter I've brought into my collection is that the ribbon is dry, torn, missing, or otherwise no good. I typically buy ribbons individually as I need them, but as my collection has grown, I saw the usefulness of having a few spares on hand for the machine I just brought home and am excited to use or to help a friend who just bought their first typewriter. To put it plainly, these ribbons are functional enough, they are in a few of my machines, but I would not purchase them again. This is for a number of reasons.First, the quality of these ribbons is lower than any I've seen. They feel thinner than others I've used and the ink is not as vibrant as similarly priced ribbons I've purchased in the past. The spools are cheap, brittle plastic. If your typewriter has the original spools, I'd recommend wrapping the ribbon on those and throwing away the ones that come with this one. There's also no reverse grommet toward the end of the spool which is a feature many machines have that would not be functional using these ribbons.Second, given the way I use my typewriters (letters, journal entries, stories, first drafts, etc.) the slightly more expensive ribbons (you may get 2 for the price of these 4) is a clear choice for me. However, even for the person who has an old typewriter they want to get working and play around on, I would not recommend these. There are many better alternatives, especially if you're able to reuse the original spools your typewriter came with. They will imprint better, last longer, and in my opinion be more enjoyable than these. So who would I recommend these ribbons to? I've given away 2 of the 4 I purchased to friends who needed a ribbon to make their first typewriter functional. One of my friends needed a ribbon for a typewriter he purchased to display in his home. He wanted it to be functional, but didn't intend on using it very often. These were cheap and easy to keep around for that purpose. I could also see using them if you resell typewriters. They're cheap and they function. There's not much more to say about them than that.

Una buena opción, es una marca genérica, se acaba rápido la tinta pero le das la vuelta y vuelve a pintar.
