I tried these out yesterday evening and found them easier and faster than my old method that involved safety pins, tweezers, and the occasional cuss word. The package of four included two adjustable clamp grabbers (kind of like tweezers but they remain closed) and two big non-pointy needles that have a thin center opening to hold elastic, ribbon, etc as you guide it along a casing. Super useful and very inexpensive.

Can’t believe it took me so long to buy bodkins. These have two which you can tie a draw string around to feed through, and two which you can clamp down onto elastic to feed through. Makes finishing up projects so much easier!

When a drawstring breaks or it gets pulled into the wrong place, these make it easier to fix. The fishtape method works better for me when I have a fishtape handy, but these are good enough.

They turned out to be smaller than what I thought they would be but I think if they do the job what's the difference. Haven't had to use them yet but it seemed like a good idea cuz I've had drawstrings get lost before

Used this while trying to pull a drawstring through on a hoodie and it’s not nearly long enough for the job. Also, shipping was slow.

Thought it would be better than it is. Didn't work very well. I think a safety pin is now the way to go. I expected to use it to get the elastic through the waistband of the shorts and neither one worked very well. Maybe it'll work better with something other than elastic.

Das ich mir nach 25 Jahren Ehe so eine Einfädelnadel kaufen muss, weil super praktisch und meine Frau keine hat (Meine Mama hat) lässt mich zweifeln ob ich die richtige geheiratet habe :-)
